It is so common here, and honestly it makes me sick. I would be furious if my child's teacher did it. Here it is also common for teachers to give children rides to/from school and I have recently heard of teachers going over to parents houses for things like "taco Tuesday" I think I would have died if my teacher came to my house as child ::

8 month old has been waking up furious from her afternoon nap all week. I much prefer her previous happy baby sounds letting me know she's awake.- Flag

Honestly, I have dozens of teacher friends on FB and a handful of them DO put pics of their students on FB:confused:My DDs elementary school has a FB page and posts things occasionally, but I would not be ok with her teacher posting stuff on her personal page...i can see why she asked.
Boundaries people. Boundaries.
None of the teachers I'm friends with do. I can't even imagine how any of them would think that's okay:confused:- Flag

Had a great interview yesterday. Unfortunately it is only for drop in care. Ultimately they want full time but need evenings and weekends. She ended the visit with, "I love it here. If you ever do weekends, please let me know."
I will probably never do weekends but if their schedule ever changes, at least they know I'm here.
Ooops didn't realize this was the venting thread.- Flag

I had a parent ask me if I put pictures of day care kids on my personal facebook page. I honestly hope I answered the question without scoffing at her
She's a teacher, does she put pictures of her students on her personal facebook page? Same thing.- Flag

9th month pregnancy insomnia has kept me awake since 1:45 this morning. I would say I need a nap, but sleep eludes me. I need lots of coffee, some Tylenol to kick this headache I've developed, and fingers crossed that my day goes smoothly, with my drop-in boy adhering to my schedule as well as he normally does.- Flag

I will probably do that from now on. I've never had an issue before. Even the new baby yesterday ****ed her bottle down.- Flag

The 4 month old that started today is NOT bottle trained and I call BS on mom for saying that she is.- Flag

Our first colds are cycling through dc. Fever, sore throats, gross noses, and a couple diarrhea kids. I'm living on echinaecia; not sure if it works but so far, so good(knock on wood!)

My difficult child has been here for 11 weeks. Here are the behaviors he's cycled through so far:
Week 1: Mouthing everything
Weeks 2-5: Biting people
Weeks 6-7: Hair-pulling
Week 8: Shoving
Weeks 9-10: Gouging/slashing
Week 11 retrospective: Back to mouthing everything
And it's been a good month since I've had a serious inquiry in response to any of my ads.
