Not in daycare, but I once babysat for a very nice family we knew from church. They had one child (about 18 months old), but they wanted 2 babysitters to be there (we were 18-19 years old!) because "two sets of eyes are better than one," so I brought my best friend. We were in college and we worked in infant/toddler rooms at a well known daycare center in town. When we got there, she gave us a 15 minute (NOT exaggerating at all) lesson in how to properly change a diaper complete with return demonstrations. Then she told us not to give her daughter a bath because "it was too risky that something could happen." (I never would have anyway unless she asked me to.) Then she handed us a 5 page typed informational packet about her daughter, the schedule, the approved reading list, etc. The little girl was adorable and we all did fine-even though the parents were only gone for about an hour! The lessons took longer than the time they were gone! I guess you never can be too careful! We both thought it was cute. I won't lie, though, it was hard to keep from giggling a little during the lesson-no eye contact with each other!

This totally reminds me of a Mom's note she handed me, just for one day as a fillin for her 6 month old daughter. Her note said" please bicycle her legs after every diaper change, this is good for bowel movements. Then right next to that was and please wipe from front to back, and don't forget those "pesky cracks" I laughed so hard, I had to tell my countless daycare friends!!! We still laugh at it!!!
