Exactly! She's my age and I can't believe how immature and irresponsible she is. Plus, she was a friend, more of an acquaintance, prior to her son coming to my dc, so I think I've learned that I just can't watch anyone's kids that I know. It's just too hard for me.

This woman has been a thorn in your side. I'm glad you'll be letting them go and replacing them with a MUCH better family (praying for that for you!).

I would absolutely not keep him in undies. He would be in diapers.

I would rephrase the pullups part to include:

"Dcb must be in pullups daily, with a minimum of 5 pullups provided at drop off. Sending dcb in underwear or not proving pull ups will be grounds for immediate termination of child care services."

Also-

Additional fees for early drop off and late arrival will increase total fees owed.

"DCM, I need to you come pick up your child. He's wearing underwear, and you didn't leave diapers/pull ups for him. I can not and will not have him peeing and pooping in underwear around my house. It's unsanitary and unfair of you to think that this is OK to do at someone else's home. I need him picked up within 30 minutes". Hand her the term letter when she picks up.

I charge a two week deposit at beginning of care to cover the last two weeks. It is non refundable and you have the choice to send you child for those last two weeks. I have not had any parents use it. I only refund the money if I terminate immediately during the trial period.

I wish I had the guts to do it! I'm already nervous about handing her the letter because I'm too nice, but I am praying for confidence!!

I'm definitely going to start taking a deposit. I wish I would have done that when this mom started. So do you have them pay a two week deposit and also the first weeks fee?
