Actually I ended up not going because my son is getting two molars in right now, so he wasn't a happy camper! But she gave my husband the death look and other people noticed it and were like wth was that all about!

awe, that stinks. Let her act childish, others will see her true colors without you needing to say a word.

I would just smile and move on. Don't let it get to you.

Well I hope if pressed, your DH replied that she (DCM) is mad you won't let her kid pee on your carpet. When put that way, most people totally understand.

Glad she isn't returning.... less stress overall! happyface

I take the two week deposit and they pay me biweekly after care has been given. This way if I care for their kid for two weeks and they do not pay me they get terminated immediately but I have already been paid.

I do something similar. I require an enrollment fee (I use the term fee so they know it is non-refundable in addition to stating so) of the final two weeks tuition if one child. The enrollment fee will hold the available spot (or upcoming spot) for up to 2 weeks. After that, it is no longer theirs.
Their first two week's tuition payment is due prior to their first day. All payment here is required prior to services being rendered.
