She said and I quote "Parents just don't care about us and how we make it through our day" And I'm sorry but thats unfair, They do care, they just can't see the "5 children" I wasn't talking about what you said, unless you said the exact same thing, then I guess I am talking about both,

I dont know if I would quote exactly what she stated, I just don't think parents really have any idea.....As some of mine will say...I don't even want to think about how you do it, it exhaust me just thinking about it....THen we giggle.

But I understand what she is saying and maybe it's NOT fair to say ALL parents (which she didnt say) but there are some parents that could care less about how WE make it through the day....

! I used to do this same thing to my MIL all the time and it drove her completely mad! My kids would be fine with her without their comfort blanket or paci and as soon as I would show up to pick them up they would immediately start screaming for it because they knew they had me wrapped around their little fingers. She would say - Stop bringing that here, they don't need it!! But when they were at home with me it was a great comfort for them and I wanted them to be comforted when I wasn't with them.
Mom just loves her dd and you can't come down on her for that. Plus it probably bugs her that dd is fine all day without her lovie but is so dependant on it at home.
I would just let it go. Let her give it to dd at pick up time, she is leaving anyway. When she pulls it out of her bag in the morning just wait until she leaves and put it in dcg cubby.
