Do you wash the kids' clothes from accidents or send them home? I've always washed them myself. I figure I''m washing the peed on nap mat anyway. Furthermore, I want to be sure the child has extra clothes here, which I sadly cannot count on.
Recently I drew the line and sent poopy clothes home from a SEVEN YEAR OLD who refuses to go to the toilet if he doesn't feel like it. (an ongoing saga for which I should have terminated long ago but now he is only here on breaks from school and is doing better sort of so I deal with it). I was not going to deal with all of that.
I handed them the bag of poopy clothes and they looked at me as if I had some nerve.
They still don't bring any extra clothes or undies for him and I just let it go because I do have plenty...but then my spares are getting sent home never to be seen again (gross).
This is coming from a sibling group that has taken forever to potty train totally due to the inconsistencies on their parents part. (using pull ups way too long for one).
*Growl*
I've been stuck in the house for two rainy days...and working 4:40 - 5:45...this definitely turned into a vent, sorry.
