WHY do parents continuously not feel the need to tell me when they're going to be more than an hour late or not coming at all for a scheduled day? It's so rude! I've addressed it so many times and I'm DONE!

Oh, my gosh, day care parents, I'm sorry my water heater died Sunday night. I'm sorry I have to close BY LAW when I don't have hot water. I'm sorry the plumbers couldn't get here today and there's no way to be sure that when they do get here they will fix it right away, so I can't guarantee when I will be open again. I understand you have to work, but I promise I want my hot water back worse than you do! I'm disgusting and dirty, my kids are disgusting and dirty, my house is disgusting and dirty and I'm losing $200+ a day while I am closed. Sulky guilt-tripping texts don't help.

        Oh that is awesome!

Why do parents think that it's ok to leave dirty clothes in their child's cubby for days after we've already told them that they have dirty clothes in their cubbies 🤢

Had a parent text me last night at 10 if she could bring DCB tomorrow when he was not schedule for that day and then asked if she had to pay for it. Really? No I do this for fun! In fact, let me refund you for the 4 days he’s contracted 4 as well.

                    I don’t get parents sometimes!!

Horrible weather today. Schools closed. Businesses are closing. Roads are closed. All dck were picked up...except for 1. Whose mom didn't even have to work in the first place.

Dcg's birthday/party is this weekend. Everybody is invited and is going. But for some reason, DCM felt the need to bring in chocolate cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes and frosted cookies PLUS goodie bags - enough for every child to get one of each - then specified that she does not want leftovers sent back home.

I probably would have said something had I been here at drop off (half day on my day off grrr) But geesh that didn't seem like overkill? I'm letting them have the cupcake of their choice and half a cookie and tossing the rest in the break room fridge. Not giving out that much sugar.
