Every. Single. Day. At least once. My entire home is a cream color ceramic tile with area rugs. If I don't mop, you can tell. If I don't mop, by noontime I am going insane because it irritates the heck out of me to see dirty floors. Almost OCD about it. It's a sickness, I tell ya.

My old kitchen and front hall floor was off white ceramic and I hated it. I would have to mop every day too and spot mop all day long or it looked gross.

I mop every other day or so. I covet my sister's steam mop and will get myself one as a back-to-school treat. LOL!

I'm like this too HOWEVER I do not do a deep-scrub mopping (not insinuating that you do either Crystal). My tile is also a cream beige and EVERY single drop of water turns into a dirt spot and makes my DC look grungy. I simple take my swiffer-style mop and throw a damp rag on it and spot-mop my floor so it looks pretty and clean again. I do it at least once a day in the middle of the day and again in the AM before DC. If it's really bad then I mop as needed.

I don't like my floors looking dirty. We used to have white grout that eventually looked grungy grey so we decided to re-grout it to a darker color. I liked that the gray matched the granite on our countertop (pink, grey and beige) and the associate warned me that "Gray actually looks a lot like dirt" to which I replied "Great! Because that what it looks like now but in patches!" We re-did the grout and now I am pleased to say that it looks 1,000 times better. Remember, sometimes it's the little things that make your home look grungy.

Not often enough! My kitchen is not available to anyone except me, so it doesn't have to be perfect.

At work we do it every day but I didn't know it was a requirement. It just needs it. There's usually some sort of juice or paint or something on it.

Move the fridge? WOW! I'm glad we don't have a fridge in the DC room!

I have hardwood floors and area rugs. I sweep or vacuum daily or more frequently if needed and mop once a week. I have a shark steam cleaner and LOVE it! I'm kind of a clean freak and hate anything on the floor...but no fridge ever gets moved here!

My husband used to do fire prevention classes. Moving and cleaning under/behind a fridge periodically is an important step in fire prevention (get the coils all cleaned). Not daily though - I don't remember exactly but a few times a year is good probably.

Yeah...I never move the fridge. I can't move it, not without tearing up our floor. I tried when we moved in and regret it terribly. The floor in there is that cheap-ass-stick-on-laminate stuff and the feet of the fridge gouged deep holes in it. Now it looks bad because the old floor (another layer of cheap-ass-stick-on-laminate) shows through and they look wildly different.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

I used to mop everyday and I still never felt like my floors were clean enough. I finally decided one day to invest in the shark steam mop. LOVED IT! so worth it. Now I only mop once maybe twice a week. I also used to go through vacuums like crazy but I went and bought a dyson and it has tested time!

Never. I have never once mopped my daycare floors.

We have carpeting through and through...yep, even in the kitchen.

I vacuum alot during the day with either my regular vacuum cleaner or with the little non-motorized push sweeper. I also have a commercial carpet cleaner come in once per month.

I do have a tiny bit of linoleum in the entry way and I guess the bathroom too, but the commercial cleaners take care of the entry way and I seem to hand mop the bathroom floor on a daily basis thanks to my non-aiming boys.

I think I've gone all summer without mopping aside from the bathroom. I sweep the dinning room after every meal and the kitchen 2-3 times per week. My floors stay clean enough that I don't feel the need to mop all the time. I just spot clean when something sticky gets on the floor. I mop my entry way/coat room close to once a week in the winter due to the messy boots.
