When I went to the class for licensing, you would be surprised at all of the crazies who want to become licensed!! I would not put my child with any of the people in there! The people in there were asking questions about how to become licensed if they are being investigated by CPS or if it's a problem that their felon/"ex"-convict relative lives at the home daycare.
When I went to the second licensing class (so the lady was almost through the semi-long process), I had a lady who wanted to know if she could continue to collect her child care assistance to take care of her own children. When she was told that she could not, she asked if she could give "her money" to her friend so that her friend's kids could come to her daycare and be paid. Ummm, probably not!

As far as this ad, I love the pricing too! If you bring your kid for 6 hrs. a day, it's $25 per day ($125/week) but if you come 5 days/week it's only $65? That's a great discount!

I could use another table and chairs...I wonder if my parents want to "donate" them? ::

In the childcare section, I saw this gem this morning. Now, understand that I am ALL FOR breastfeeding, milk sharing (where if you have extra milk you pump it and donate it for people who can't), etc...but this just crosses a line...

      Can nurse your newborn

if you cannot breastfeed your newborn, i am younger and willing to
i believe breastfeeding is the best for newborns
you can email me with any questions
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

there was a crazy guy on craigslist "collecting" breastmilk for a supposed fragile/sickly child. he would put up an ad looking for moms that had a huge stash or overage.

I breastfed and these ads are really disturbing to me...I'm all for milk sharing for preemies, etc. (Lord knows I could have fed a small village) but I think the appropriate thing is the MILK-BANK at a hospital where they can run the appropriate tests, proper storage & distribution. JMHO...

                  Funny daycare ad

This lady claims she will neuter your child and she can't spell.

Loving home childcare in my post xxxxx home, lots of love and care, very clean. I am currently a stay at home mom of a 6 year old daugher and my 18 month old son. I include healthy meals and snack that are included in the tuition. My home is child/ baby friendly and childproof, large back yard, and screened front porch and back porch. I have tons of toys. I currently have a degree in nursing, so medically taking care of your child is never a issue. My prices a very reasonable, and hours flexable as knowing and experienced first hand with how unflexiable and extreamly over priced child care is. I am very compassionate and neutering when it comes to all children. My regular hours are mon-fri 7:30am-5:30pm unless other arrangements are discussed prior. I ask that parent provide diapers and wipes and if your child requires any extras. I do not force a baby/ toddler to do away with bottles or pacifers if they are not ready, unless instructed by the parent. I have a open door policy you may come and go as you please without prior notice. I also have facetime so at anytime you can communicate or be able to view you child to reasure you that he or she is being properly taking care of... Thank you please contact me is interested..

I've seen some like this and worse on our CL!

But recently I've seen some that are for young girls offering to babysit and THEN attaching a provocative pic of themselves. Like complete with cleavage and one I saw was a pic of herself in a tight fitting shirt standing in the bathroom sideways in the mirror taking a pic of herself. I don't know if it's actually some kind of advertising for an "escort" that I don't know about or if these young girls don't actually know the pic is inappropriate. What do y'all think? Have you seen those sort of ads too?
