    Funny Craigslist Ad

I couldn't find the old post about funny ads on Craigslist, but I really had to post this one:

I will do **BABYSITTING** from my home. I'm a mother grandmother of five, watch my grandson during the day. Open to help other parents in need of a babysitter, to look for work or thats working. I use to work for Elcampinto Daycare Center as a teacher assistant for 1-5 years old. I've raised four of my own children. Was a Certified Nurse Assistant/Homehealth Aide for 15 years. I'm also a Attorney Assistant/Paralegal.

I also work from my home therefore I'm ONLY available the time I have listed. May be able to extend my hour on some days. I expect parents to pick their children up ON TIME. If parents are not here after closing, I must call the proper authority.

6:00 a.m. to 12 noon ONLY Monday- Friday. Ages 6mths-5 years. DAYTIME HOURS ONLY! Full 6hour shift is 25.00 a day per child will negotiate fee with more than one child, 15.00 per hour per child, if you don't need the full six hours. 5-days a week discount is 65.00 per child.

I expect to be paid the day of child arrival, I'm NOT a free babysitter!

I ask for parents to bring proper supplies:
    Emengency contact numbers thats reachable
    Formula
    Diapers
    Wipes
    Bottles
    baby powder
    diaper cream
    Changing clothes
    blankets
    toys for your child
    mats for sleeping
    snacks

Parents may also donate items such as:
children clothing girls/boys 6mths-5 years in size
safe toys for children 6mths-5 years
videos for the children to watch
    children tables & chairs
    snacks for the children
    mats
    constrcution paper
    crayons
    potty chairs
    anti-soap
    safety gates & plugs
Anything else parents can think of thats helpful & fun with children!!

If you need me I'm here but don't come with NO GAMES, I expect to be paid for my services.
No **SICK** CHILDREN PLEASE!! If your child has a COLD DON'T BRING THEM!

The time that shes open was funny to me too. Only till noon? Man Id love a job where I worked from 6-12p. Maybe people who work 3rd shift could use her services? Get home at 6a, drop their kids off so they could sleep and then pick them up at noon.

Also, lugging toys back and forth my kid to share with her grandson and other kids would be a pain.

Id love to adopt her backbone and also see who replies to this ad.
"Being a parent is wanting to hug and strangle your kid at the same time".

Amazing how she is "A ATTORNEY ASSISTANT/PARALEGAL."

REALLY?! You would think she would realize being professional and all that its AN ATTORNEY, NOT A ATTORNEY. ::::::

this is very weird. It says "I am completely unprepared to have children in my home, if you want me to watch them then you have to bring everything but the kitchen sink for them every day". What parent has time and space to pack a full days worth of toys for daycare (and have other kids ruin them)?

Well at least we can use her list when we have newbie posters needing to know what they need to start a day care. Let's keep it

                      Don't forget this line:

                      "don't come with NO GAMES"

Does it cost money to place a Craigs List Ad? Because if it's free I think it's a joke.

No I really think it's legit! I see ads like this all the time on Craigslist.

When I went to the class for licensing, you would be surprised at all of the crazies who want to become licensed!! I would not put my child with any of the people in there! The people in there were asking questions about how to become licensed if they are being investigated by CPS or if it's a problem that their felon/"ex"-convict relative lives at the home daycare.
