That kitten is making sure you got paid on time! LOL

My day started off with one of my DCB's getting poop on the bathroom stool. How that happened I do not know. LOL So I was outside with the cleaning spray and a scrub brush, cleaning the stool and I just had to laugh. I felt so glamorous! ::

:CM drops off DCB 11month old and mentions they are getting portraits taken later in the afternoon.
          DCD comes to pickup,
he usually is covered in hair, big beard and long hair.
well, he got a hair cut and shaved his beard off.
DCB always gets happy with dad, not today.
DCB was sooo quiet when he saw dad.
          it was cute amd funny.
dad tells DCB 'mom made me do it'

I have a new student who has never been in care before. He is not sure how he feels about nap time yet. He feels uncomfortable lying down on his cot, so he was sitting up today. His little head would droop down and then he would snap right back up to sitting up. Every time either myself or my assistant would try to lie him down he would just wake up. Eventually I left him be and he fell asleep totally folded in half while sitting up. I was scared to try to move him for fear he would wake up again. Luckily nap time was almost over. I can't imagine that he was comfortable. :: Hopefully he will realize that it is more comfortable to lie down for naptime soon. ::

This happened last night, but I didn't have time to post it.

We were outside at pick up. I was sitting in one of the Little Tykes chairs when dcm arrived. Dcg ran for a hug, then got down and ran to me. She put her arm around me and said, "Momma, this is my friend Sunni." Like I haven't seen her every day for 2 1/2 years. ::

                During lunch today:
Me: Junior please turn around and sit properly.
Sally: I'm not Junior, I'm Sally!
Me: I wasn't talking to you, I'm talking to Junior.
Sally: I'm not talking to Junior, I'm talking to you!

I don't know what my dc girl has been eating at home, but she keeps having to use the bathroom (#2) it's not diarrhea, and she's getting to the bathroom so no biggie. Anyway, she feels she has to announce it, loudly, each time. Today while another parent was here dropping off she is yelling "MRS K, MRS K, I GO POOPIES!" And then it's "MRS K COME LOOK!! I WENT POOPIES!" The other parent and I were dying.

DCF is not here yet. It is 9:05. They are scheduled to arrive at 8:45.

DCM just sent me a text that says "We are running late".....as if I haven't already figured that out.... :: :: ::

She is normally VERY punctual so the text just made me chuckle...

Dcg, 4, was very quiet during breakfast. When she realized she hadn't said much in a few minutes she said to me "want to know what I am thinking of? I was thinking of my 2 boyfriends, Spencer and Andrew. I am going to date them when I get older."

I made a book nook from a playpen (did I get that idea from this board?) and my dcb4 went right in there to lay horse eggs.

Last night we weretalking about them going and DH said, "Are you going to miss Daddy?" and my older DS (5) said, "I'm gonna miss Daddy" then he leaned over to me and said, "I like to call Daddy, Miss Daddy" Just like he calls my assisstant and me Miss So&So during daycare time.

I have an extremely verbal 2 1/2 yo little girl. I swear she's been talking from the day she turned one. She's not much of a napper and I keep her on a mat right beside me during quiet time. She chatters a blue streak the whole time and no amount of shushing is going to keep her quiet. I give her books, puzzles, etc. Yesterday after saying sssh for the umpteenth time, she says "I don't come here just to be quiet you know".
                                Oh boy
