So I started the daycare again so I could work from home come the time if we can get pregnant via IVF. I only keep babies 0-24months.
So I spend about an hour and a half at night doing daycare stuff after the kids are gone. I had this same problem the last 4 yrs there is so much to do if you do it right. From advertising, book work, cleaning, etc. I can't do that once I have a baby or even during part of pregnancy. Due to family time and just exhaustion.
So my question is, Any Daycare moms choose to get an assistant to help you through the pregnancy and birth? Possibly even cover a third or half the day so you can sleep in after the baby is born, take a nap mid day, or even just do back office work during daycare hours so you would be done for the day when hubby gets home?
I have 4 infants and that is my self imposed max. It will cut into my income but I see it as income and essentially a part time nanny/help for my own kiddo. Better than shutting down daycare me bringing in no income and paying a babysitter to get breaks in.
Any advice on any combinations that you all worked out to build in needed rest time etc. FYI we are building a back office in the yard so hubby can work from home and I can sneak away for naps or quiet time when I get an assistant. I know not getting consistent sleep is going to have me cracking, so I need to prepare for it well before hand. Thanks guys.
