Hi ladies! I've only been in child care for 4 years. I only care for 4, so I'm license exempt in my state. I've had long-term clients, so I've had to do very few interviews. I had an interview set for 12:15 today... and they "no call, no showed" on me.
I've had 2 times that something like this happened in the past. 1) The guy called hours later, rescheduled for the next night. Interviewed, hired me to begin care that week. 9 months later, I dropped him for repeatedly having issues with getting paid (that was before I started requiring advance pay). Time 2) Mom moves interview back 3 times in the same night. Is very nosy and rude about issues that are none of a daycare parents' concern. The child comes 1 day, she picks up late and sits on my couch chatting about getting fired. So.... Both bad experiences.......
No word yet. What is your policy if someone does this and then calls later to apologize/ reschedule?
Thanks in advance ☺️
