I will respectfully disagree with willingly going to court and testifying. First off, its best to stay out of it, because you said you have been only dealing with mom and this custody issue since dck started, so you don't know the other side. I would never willingly enter myself into someone's legal battles unless ordered by a court. Mainly because I don't have time for it Taking time off work to go to the hearing, potentially being recalled as a witness, ect. It's time and it's money and it is a pain to find back up care for the other kids in my care. The biggest thing, though, is that even though dcm is being rude and disrespectful, I would not want to testify against her in court and open myself up for future issues. Unless you have had direct contact with her ex, then I don't see how you would be able to offer anything to her case anyway, so it would basically be a waste of time and a headache for you.

This... I use to serve subpoenas for crap like this and it irks me when a lawyer try to illegally do something, like say someone has to do something or they can get into trouble, that by law the person isn't required to do. Skirting the legal route leads me to believe they are trying to set dad up with trumped up garbage
