Oh my, if this is the wave of these little ones growing up now, with all the posing and picture taking, what will they be like when they realize the world isn't as all fascinated by them as they thought.

I absolutely agree with the social media idea. Also, hubs pointed out to me not long ago that our "watch me" kids are the ones who get all their human interaction from me. They are the ones who get minimal one on one from mom or dad. They are deposited into a car, given a tablet. Taken into house. TV is on. Fed dinner. Bathed. Play games on tablet. Then placed to bed.
No real hard core talking or true attention from adults.

It's really not funny I know, but I keep picturing all these toddlers walking around doing duck face selfies. ::

:::: I literally laughed out loud at this one and my husband frowned at me. I interrupted a very important part of the show he was watching and he had to rewind it.

Its funny but its sad too... :: (the DCK pausing like that)

Thank goodness for being able to rewind live tv.
I rarely think about the fact that I can do that....
.....until we travel somewhere and I cant do it...
The whole time Im watching anything I feel anxious...

Oh the side effects of modern technology!! ::

Aggression is coming out because what she is doing isn't working and she's acting out. Negative attention is better than no attention.

This is completely my 4 yo DC "princess" If I'm in the middle of something and can't give her the attention, she tries to force it from the toddlers.
Nothing "wrong" necessarily and it will be interesting to see how K goes...
