      Thank you for the compliment on his work... I am pretty proud of his work...because obviously my house is full his creations.

        Did he make the log frame for that bed? That's on my list for 2015.

          The canopy bed? That was my Christmas gift a few years back.

          Yes, he made the entire bed...frame and all. Well he didn't make the mattress... LOL!

              My husband built our playroom gate, he found instructions online and it's basically like the bottom half of a farmhouse door. He ended up screwing a board into the wall before installing the gate for extra sturdiness.

                      I have a metal swinging latch gate that is bracketed to the doorframe separating my kitchen from the playroom. I teach the kids, too, that they are not allowed to even touch it, as early as just crawling age. With consistency, they understand boundaries.
