Question for you all:
My time policy is this: Regular tuition covers up to 10 hours of care per day. Anything beyond 10 hours is considered an extended day and I have an extended day fee of $5 per every half hour past the 10 hour mark. Then at 6:00pm when I close I start charging a late fee of $1 per minute if a child is still here.
I have a DCM who has 10.5 and 11 hour days. She has a schedule and her extended day fees are part of her regular tuition. Now, some days she has been dropping DCK off later resulting in a day that does not go over the 10 hour mark. If you were in my shoes, would you refund her the extended day fee since she did not go over 10 hours? Or would you keep it since her contracted hours are for 10+ hour days and it is her choice if she brings DCK later then normal?
