I had spoken to my DCP's all before the time came close and they were all ok with me working up until I went into labor even if it meant having to call everyone to pick their kids up. I worked right up until I got contractions and closed for the days that I was at the hospital, came home and rested for 2 days and was back at it with daycare ::.

BUT I've had 3 great pregnancies and labor (didn't need epidural, natural labor etc) and apparently a high tolerance for pain because I was up and doing housework and watching the DCK's as soon as I could. Apparently I'm crazy though so ...

I worked until 4:30 and he was born at 5:50, but I went from "hum... maybe tomorrow" to "it's a boy!" really quick. Even when going to the hospital at 4:30 (normal closing) I still wasn't sure if I was going to be sent home. I got there around 5 and was at 4, he was born less than an hour later.
