I am closing that Friday. I am sure all of my parents will still need care but, I am still closing that day. I do not get paid for any days I take off.

So, question. Do you think any of the parent's jobs will give them that Friday off?
If you don't think they will give them that day off work, would it be weird to take the Monday and Tuesday after the 4th off? That would work BETTER for me but I am thinking it might be even more odd than taking off the 2nd and 3rd. :

My DH gets all federal holidays off plus a bunch more like primary election. He will have that Friday off. Anyone that works in a bank or state job will also.So, question. Do you think any of the parent's jobs will give them that Friday off?
