It was awkward. I did my little speech, and then Dcm said that they were on the waiting list, but she called to see if the had the space yesterday, and they did. I'm fairly certain that's a blatant lie, she had enrolled her and was accepted but didn't want to tell me until the last minute. Telling me yesterday was her way of sticking it to me. Whatever. Dcm said she feels dcg has outgrown my program. I just did the eyebrow raise.

Dcg isn't even CLOSE to outgrowing my program, and unfortunately our UPK program isn't so great. I feel badly for dcg, but there's nothing I can do.
Ummm Diva and friends... can I be referred to as the all powerful all knowing for calling the wait list lie?

What a rude woman. I an glad you did an eyebrow raise. I would have been tempted to insert an eyeroll there as well.

I will often break up an argument between the kids of "That's mine! No it's mine! No it's mine!" By taking the toy away and saying "actually, it's mine and I'm sharing with you. I see you don't appreciate my sharing so now I will take it back"

Or when I hear the "it's mine" argument I'll ask "wait... who's toy is it?" They respond "yours..." I tell them "that's right, now are you going to share my toy or should I take it back?" Usually ends with me taking it away of course

I think you should start a petition to Michael to give me the longest username in the history of daycare.com

I think your choice of usernames for me is spot on.

                            Let's go with that.

                              4. Quote from a DCK to DCM: "I'm gonna do daycare when I get old so that I can have all the cool toys that Miss A has! It's sad you don't have any toys mom, maybe you can play with Miss A's? She likes to share them!!" WIN!

I handed dcd a copy of my discipline policy and told him that any future questions, he should refer dcm to it. Dcd seemed embarrassed.

I was/am fully ready to term if it happens again.
That was a good punishment, having to replace what she broke with one of her own toys. very good DCD. (of course dcm will most likely by dcg a new one)
