I would list it out. Show a list of amounts owed compared to what she paid, resulting in a balance, if that's the case.

Example:

Care for week of June 23 $__
Payment short $__
Unpaid late fees $__
______
Total due as of June 23 $__

Then follow with:

Total due for June 23 $__
Amount paid on June 23 -$__
_______
Balance due $__

This shows in what she owes and why, compared to what she paid. IF you do end up in court it would help to have it listed out clearly to show that she is well aware of what she owes and why

K. Thx. Will add it into her certified letter. It was in the text which was included in the email which is why I didn't repeat it. But I can give a step by step breakdown. Usually end up doing that for her anyway along with stick figures do she can better get a visual. She isn't the brightest lightbulb sometimes. So I will add that in

I am heartbroken....girls just left. Sigh. Done.

But dad informed me not to worry about her coming at me for money or anything. She has bigger fish to fry. His lawyer sent their 52 page information on the hearing set for Friday and what they are going for ...custody, drug test request, etc SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more.....she opened the email file from the lawyer and now has a heads up that her meeting on Friday is going way beyond daycare placement. *sigh* Some people should never be parents. I just hope it pans out for him and the girls. The whole thing is sad. I have wanted to cry since yesterday.
