Also, I check my younger daughter's twitter (she doesn't know that I do). I'm sure if she had been sneaking someone in, she would have said something about it on twitter at some point of time. All she ever puts is how weird things happen and she's scared. This morning for instance, (I believe because the weird stuff just started back up) she put how she's scared to death of the dark.

Just a question, but Why have you stayed so long? You have stated that the landlord is a slum lord and won't fix anything, and if there is something going on then why stay and drive your self nuts?

I have stayed so long because I am a broke single mother whose profession is licensed home daycare. Most people in my area will not rent to you if you run a business out of your home for fear of them getting sued if someone gets hurt on their property. Plus I have a dog and 2 cats! So I am lucky to have found someone willing to allow me to do daycare in their home and allow my pets. I don't have the money to move anyway. I have tried to save up money to move, but as soon as I get a little put aside, something happens (such as my car completely dying and I had to buy a new car!) and I have to spend that money on an immediate emergency.

I am not educated in anything other than daycare. The only out of the home jobs I could get are retail, stand on your feet jobs. I have a bad ankle and can't stand up for too long. I have worked in a daycare center before, when I moved here from my previous home and was waiting to get my new license for this house. But the pay was so low that I couldn't support myself and couldn't wait to get my new daycare license.

Basically, I'm stuck here until I can get the money together to move to another house that will allow me to do daycare and keep my pets (I'm not going to get rid of my pets. They are family members to me. We are the only family they have ever known and I don't believe in just getting rid of pets) or I fix my credit enough to buy a house. I trusted my ex when I moved back into state. He said he'd pay my bills for a while until I get a job and get on my feet if I moved back into state which would allow him to see the children more often (this was a while ago). But instead of paying the bills, he handed them back to me and refused to help me financially. So trusting him ruined my credit! I'm working on fixing my credit, but that takes time.

Putting aside for a moment how crazy the story sounds--I would be concerned as a parent, a single woman, a daycare provider, you name it--if someone really is doing this they know when you are not there and I would be very concerned about privacy. Namely, cameras placed throughout the home. In potentially very intimate places, if you catch my drift.

I wouldn't bring it up to the landlord as there would be an excellent chance he could be the culprit, or in on it.

I am definitely not telling my landlord. I have also looked around for spy cameras like you are suggesting. I have thought about what you are saying a long time ago. I haven't been able to find any cameras. But since I changed the locks and didn't give the landlord a new key, I don't think it would be him. I think it's either spirits or someone has been living here since I moved in and was already in the house when I changed the locks.

I'm quite unsure of this story. You could just sign on under your user name, why be unregistered, none of us know you or care who you are. Your story doesn't warrant signing on and remaining unregistered.
Also, it's been a while, if you were really serious you would have gotten a cheap camera (yes you can get them cheap) and set it up.
Also, a ghost wouldn't bring in Burger King and leave the wrapper, let's be serious!
Finally, I would be very uncomfortable leaving my children in a homedaycare where someone was sneaking in and out, or was inhabited by ghosts. Safety of the children in your charge should be priority number one.
So either fess up that you are pulling everyone's leg, or sign in under your user name (there's no reason not to) or put up cameras and figure out what's going on.
I don't believe you are serious. Either not serious about what is actually going on (just having some fun with all these ladies), or not really serious about figuring out what is happening and doing something about it.

No, my parents don't know of this. Nothing has happened that would endanger the children and I am certainly not going to risk losing all of my income over strange noises/happenings. I knew that everyone would freak out about the daycare kids safety which is one reason I don't want you to know who I am.

As I have said, I am a broke single mother. My bank account is currently negative 74.00. I have only been discussing this with you for a couple of days and haven't been paid since I first posted this. I can't buy a camera until I get paid! I can't even buy powder to put on the basement and kitchen floors until I get paid, which is this Friday.

I knew some of you would give me crap about this. I should have known not to say anything on here.

But most of you have given me ideas and suggestions, which I very much appreciate. Thank you.

I am keeping notes and am making plans on things to do. I found a store that sells the smudge stick my friend recommended and tried to call that store this morning to see if they also sell the 7 day reverse energy candle. But they aren't open yet. I would think they will sell the candle since they sell the smudge stick. I went to Walmart and found a set of security cameras for $120 (includes 2 cameras) and a set of 4 cameras for $350.

So, I am looking into everything, I just don't have the money to buy any of it right now. Just because I can't afford to run out and buy things immediately does not mean that I am lying or that I am not sincere about wanting to do something about the things going on here. It simply means that I have to gather information, ideas, suggestions, decide which suggestions to go with, and then get the money together to purchase the necessary supplies to execute the decided action.

This was my thought as well. If they are watching her, who know what they can see. I would be scared to even get undressed let alone sleep and live in a place like that. As a daycare provider, I wouldn't let the kids leave my side for nap or any other reason. That is just dangerous. I am sorry you are in the position you are in but i would use the suggestions mentioned above and resolve it or figure something out. What if something happened to one of the daycare kids? I as a parent would want to know what was going on and I for sure wouldn't want my child left unattended if someone was hiding in the home. Like I said who know what they see or even watch you and the kids do. Im not bashing u. I really hope you get it resolved soon!

I apologize about the confusion of the dates. I see you only posted this a few days ago.
As for remaining unregisitered, I still don't get it. No one is going to track you down and report you because you think you might have ghosts.
You said before that you looked for a camera and couldn't find one, not that you didn't have the money to purchase one.
Like I said, I am just unsure as you are an anonymous person on the internet typing words, who cares if I believe you or not.
Just thought there were some ways you could add credibility.
Hope you figure it all out, I'm sure if you really believe there is something going on (for months now I believe you said) you must be quite scared with no options to leave.
Or perhaps you have become accustomed to it as you say nobody is in danger.
