    I also agree with the others that without some kind of legal documentation that you cannot withhold the child from either parent. I would also be inclined to tell mom that if any divorce/custody drama is brought to the daycare (including repeated requests to illegally withhold the child from the other parent) that you will be terminating the daycare arrangement. You don't need that crap.

      Yes, this. When in doubt let the police come and they can make some calls and figure it out. Let them make the call if you feel uncomfy.

        I agree if there is no court papers then you can't really withhold the child. I would not want to be in your shoes. Keep us posted.
