Yes. I get paid no matter what.
But that is the crazy part. It INFURIATES me.
But I should just see it as two free paid days but instead I get so angry.
Probably because I find it so unbelievably insulting.

I completely agree with you. I feel the same way but what can you do. You know. He sees it as well she's getting paid. I'm not driving that far if I don't have to. I like this lady here anyway. Its more a power struggle between mom and dad than anything to so with you. ****s but it is often this way with divorces.

I also hate that it isn't great for the dcg to be bouncing back and forth

I had a dcg who started at 6 weeks and parents divorced when she was 2. Dcg came M-F 7:30-5 so with me all day everyday. They had 50-50 custody so dcg switched back and forth every Sunday. Court was sensible enough to court order that child remain in ONE childcare. So I got to keep her fulltime but dealt with mom one week and dad the other. It was tough but glad it was at least somewhat stable for dcg. I can see the dad's point of view but TOTALLY feel your frustration.

[QUOTE=kendallina;57728]This is between them and in my opinion, mom needs to handle it. If she's pissed that dad didn't bring dcg there, then she needs to talk to him. I woudn't call dad at all, as far as you're concerned, it doesn't matter why he didn't bring the girl there (hopefully you still get paid for these days??). For all you know, mom is saying these things about dad that aren't true. I would leave it alone, you have enough to do without getting in the middle of their stuff! [/QUOTE

            I totally agree.
