    I remember you posting this before, and I think I responded that she must be a phone sex operator. ::

      Hmmph. How rude! I would have pulled out instruments for the kids and started singing the song that never ends.

        :::::: That's great!

        I also have it in my policies to not talk on the phone......not like a "policy" stops some people though .

          I think tomorrow we are dragging out the drum set pots and pans. Cell or not we are going to make him as uncomfortable as possible.

          Gosh I act like a child sometimes

            I hope that it doesn't happen again, but I would just respond with "If it is too loud in MY HOME for you to hear on your phone, you're welcome to step outdoors!", and continue on with my business.

              And then be more than happy to charge late fees if they're past their pick up time.

                I have a strict no cell phone policy. It’s reason for immediate termination.

                  Daycare, your clients never cease to amaze me. Why you try so hard to be "nice" to them whlile they walk on you is beyond me.

                  My response would have been "No, but you can take it back outside where it belongs." Simple, short, direct, no apology.

                  Nip it in the bud, as it happens, every time, and life becomes easier. :hug:

                      Love this! I would love to see their faces! What do they usually do?

                      I'm going to do this next time! I usually just talk to the kids while my dcm stands there on her phone.

                            I am such a dork....I could not stand up for myself if my life depended on it. Even when things happen outside of daycare I still don't.

                            ughhhh

                                I just printed it off and laminated it. I posted it on my door.
