4 yo comes in the door and sits on the steps, pouting. She pulls off her headband, and glares at mom.
Mom says, "Put it on your head or give it to me. We talked about this already."
Child THROWS headband at mom. Mom picks it up. Child has a fit, crying and yelling at her mom to, "Give it back!!" Mom DOES?????!!!

Mom looks at me. "I thought this cr** was supposed to stop when they were two?? Why does she keep acting like that?"
I do not normally respond this way, but I was just so floored....
"BECAUSE IT WORKS!!"
