I hope you have a better day! I've been having a hectic week too with my students too, I teach one and two-year-olds and one of the girls who is more calm has been really aggressive! I think it is a full moon! Where are you located as you mentioned snow and ice? I'm in St. Louis and our weather has been nuts!

It's not a full moon, Mercury is in retrograde. I have no idea what that means, but my friend who believes in that says it affects electronics and good sense. She's complained about it periodically for years, but I never paid much attention until I started DC. Now, I mention having an insane day and she tells me Mercury is in retrograde. She's started warning me in advance, and darned if she isn't right. We go from a quiet, placid existence to complete chaos. I think she said it happens 3 times a year and lasts about 3 weeks each time. I should go google this.

      Googled and found this:

"What happens when Mercury goes retrograde?

All sorts of things! It’s like everyone you know has suddenly gone mad! You might find yourself getting into bizarre arguments about nothing at all, being unable to finish sentences or barely even able to form a coherent thought. Your computer and other electronic equipment is more likely to go on the fritz. "

Doesn't specifically mention kids but the part about bizarre arguments (with a 3 year old) certainly applies. ;-)

Wow... Mercury is definitely in retrograde! LOL one of my teenagers has been a bear and one of the DCBs has been naughty as heck this week!!!

OP- I have taken a DCB to the drs with me (we have the same Ped) and he'll examine DCB too if he's questionably symptomatic which he always seems to be.

            Vacation time

The week before my vacation last month was very similiar to yours. I was ready to call it quits, but still at it after 24 yrs. One thing I want to address is the not eating healthy foods for the one child. I offered for a whole summer, a reward program for every new item they tried they picked out a little prize from the Dollar Tree store. Parents were too busy to push for healthy choices for their little boy. But he and several others broaden their horizons and took home some loot. I spent very little with prizes that came in groups. It changed a lot of minds!
