    I Love Two Year Olds

Me to 2.5 yr old who is up and down at breakfast: "Sit down while you're eating"

Other 2.5 yr old (shaking her head): "What are you going to do with him?"

LOL! My thoughts exactly. I love two year olds!!!

I love two. Even the fabulous tantrums that come with being two don't dissuade me from loving the age. My favorite by far lovethis

Really? I have three 2yos here and they are driving me bananas!

          MINE!

          NO!

          MINE! NO! MINE! NO!

Plus they are pushing and shoving each other, stealing toys, and one bites!

Definitely ups and downs with this age group.
My 2 1/2 year old, this a.m. at breakfast, asked what was in her 'comets'. I said 'Your what?' She said 'You know, these comets with legs?' She was talking about the omelets on her plate.
Then at lunch she watched as I drained the rigatoni into the strainer that I had set into the sink. As I served lunch, she asked if that's what I had gotten out of the drain. The image made me go ewww.
Yeh, those are her cute moments. The others make me want to pull my hair out.

I guess I should clarify they are easily entertained, the 3 I have get along better than the 3-4 year olds in my group. If I only have the 2 year olds for the day I'm jumping for joy!! When it's craft time, story time, circle time, lunch time basically anytime they are sooo excited! They all eat their lunch without saying eww I don't like that.

They have bad days don't get me wrong and when the girls are grumpy or the whiner starts in they have to excuse theirselves from our activity until they can calmly sit and participate. But hands down I choose this age over my 4 yr old group!!
