I'm thinking she's never done day care? ::

No she did have a daycare! For years!! But this was 30 years ago so......big difference now!

Plus she had 6 children. You would think she would know better. She always gasps at what I charge as if I'm robbing the bank. Hello? My rates are at least $15 less than comparable daycares per week! I'm pretty sure something called "inflation" occurred ::!

I texted her later and asked how he was doing. Apparently he is doing perfectly fine. I told her that in the future if something similar happens (small amount of vomit with no other symptoms after consuming something acidic), I will text her immediately but monitor him. If it happens a second time that same day, I will have her pick him up. I then asked if she thought that was fair. I told her that I always err on the side of caution and at the time I was not aware of his past problems with reflux, hence the text to pick him up immediately.

She responded that she totally understands and is not upset at all about it. She seems to be enjoying her time with him. Hopefully that is truly the case.
