3 month old has a pack n play in my bonus room off e master. His 22 month old sister has a pack n play in my nap room and a pack n play in my master bedroom.she usually naps in the nap room and at bedtime she goes into the master. That's because my 3 sibling set goes to bed at night in the nap room. My daughter sleeps in her room and my son sleeps in his room.

The 3 sibling set, ages 2,3, and 6 sleep on mats. The very very thick ones.

Babies are in a crib here.
Youngest on a cot is 14 months, on cots until age 2
After that they are on folding mats

It is not legal here to use a mat or cot for children under 12 months. They must be in a crib or PNP (something with sides). After 12 months it is fine to do mats/cots here.

I have a question on this subject. One of my kids is 20 months and currently in a pnp. But, he is within a couple of pounds of the weight limit. The problem is that he has SPD, speech issues and has no-or very, very little-receptive language, among other things. No matter how many times I put him on a mat or a cot, he won't stay. I can tell him to stay or put him back on a dozen times, and he has no idea what I'm saying. I am thinking I will need to buy a regular crib for him once he outgrows the pnp, but I hate to do that. It's just a temporary fix, and a rather expensive one. Does anyone have any brilliant ideas to solve this?

Weight limit on the pack and play?? I'd price compare, lots of them go up to higher weights.

All 3 of mine have a 30 pound limit. I didn't realize some went higher. I'll do some checking. Thanks! I'd love to get him on a cot or mat, but I don't see that happening for a good long while.

And also, check with licensing, there may be some kind of technicality where you can keep him in a pnp... Maybe dr order etc.

We only do 18 months to 4 years, and they all sleep on 2" folding mats. I have looked at getting these, any thoughts?
