GREAT answer!!!!! I'll have to remember that if I ever have that problem.

Either that or hand her the toilet brush. ::

Oh dear... it's nothing too serious. There is a large framed photograph of a naked man smoking a cigar in bondage (who happens to look like my hubs, ), a smaller framed photograph of a naked woman in a swing and large glass bottles shaped as naked male and female bodies on the vanity.

I don't think my daycare parents need to see any private areas of my home

How do you not let an adult use your bathroom? I would feel very horrible for not letting one of my clients in need use the bathroom. What is your reasoning behind that?

How do you handle not letting the parent hear about the child's day? What do you say to a parent that wants to know but did arrive at closing time? I need to get better about this with one particular parent. It feels like this parent is looking to get the money's worth out of me at times- I want to scream time to go, yet I don't. I just want to be done and go home too. I still have stuff to do before I can be done usually. Paperwork, floors, restock for next day and anything else I have to do. I like this parent and sometimes I am the one that gets caught up in talking, but it is hard to go down a list of stuff that is the same as the day before and I am just screaming inside go home, I want to be done. I just don't have it in me to not be polite.

wwwwwhhhhhhat........ and the kids are using your bathroom decorated that way? My mind is naturally curious as to what theme this may be......sorry girl but you do crack me up at times::

My bathroom is small too but I would let my parents use it and I have.

I would never tell parents they couldn't use the bathroom UNLESS I had a separate daycare bathroom fitted with a mini-potty, etc. Otherwise this seems like an extreme policy.

I think she said her dc bathroom is separate and fitted for kids.

The bathroom decorated in an adult nature is her PERSONAL bathroom NOT her daycare one.

She stated that her reasoning behind not allowing the parents to use the daycare bathroom is because it is small and small enough that she doubts any of her daycare parents could actually fit in it.

I have a sign by the entrance that says "no public restroom " got sick of the parents making their stop and delaying their exit, and some used yo take the child in with them, kid would cry and they would be be loud and take forever, washing hands etc!!!

Oh and also siblings that come with the parents yo pick up are Not allowed yo use the restroom, they made a habit of if, as soon as I would open the door, they used yo ask to go, delaying the pick again. Until I started saying oh you can go when you get home, ok? Never ask again, now I guess that parents and siblings will earn to stop playing games or going Before coming here!

My dc bathroom is quite small (and decorated appropriately for children with FROGS!) that hubs and I have a hard time fitting in there and closing the door! Many business do not have a washroom for the public... I am one of them. It's my house, I decide. There's a mall a short distance from my house, I would direct them there.

Hubs and I are VERY open about sexuality/nudity (we met in the sex shop I used to work in ) - we are adults, we can decorate as we see fit in our private areas of the home! Our bathroom actually gets ALOT of positive comments. It's tastefully done.

As for pick ups right at close... I simply say, "We'll talk about Joey's day at drop-off tomorrow - I'm closed and need to get going."
