You can get Hand, Foot, and Mouth as an adult and it is extremely uncomfortable and painful. I got it from my son and he got seriously sick( we were in the hospital for a week). Be thankful that none of the kids are seriously sick and please sanitize everything. :hug:HFM won't effect you but if the HFM was on you and you went to bed without showering, touched doorknobs etc you could potentially keep spreading it around your home and back to the kids

HFM is not that bad to get if you're a child unless the child gets a severe case in which the child is extremely uncomfortable and usually won't eat or drink much which is great but it's still super easy to keep spreading.

I email a friend of mine who also went to this party....her daughter is sick too!
Googled the info to refresh myself on it....'A' must have been sick since last Friday. It says 2-3 days before blisters begin after the start of the fever. That means she infected my VBS class too and was running a fever since this time last week. It also said they should not attend as long as symptoms are there. All three kids were here all week including A who was obviously throwing up sick since Sunday. She says the dr said ok.
Best part....the friend above tells me that DCM told her YESTERDAY the girls had it. Odd that since A was at the beach all day and little sister left here to do errands with DCM and didn't get to Bs house to pick up until after of which she threw up in the car. My ped is closed by then so she couldn't have taken her there to get that diagnosis . So WHEN did DCM tell my friend her kids were sick? WHEN did she see the dr to be told this? Hummm....lets all take a bet.
DCM says the ped didn't tell her they were sick or contagious. I think she is clearly lying. It isn't all adding up. When she found out. When she told people. Her FB post. Etc. I think she knew since Monday. Either way.....your oldest was sick with clear symptoms and you brought her and said nothing.
Kids are dropping around this family like flies and she didn't think it made a difference? There was no link to her in her brain at all?
I have an interview tomorrow for a family. If they take the spots, I think I am terming Monday. I MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT speak with dad and see if he can take over drop off/pick up. If not then they are going on two week notice.
The virus isn't the issue. Kids get things like this. It was how she handled it. She walked around telling people, posting on FB, trying to blame it all on her ex like it was a game. In the end she made a lot of kids sick in her stupidity. Lying made a lot of kids sick. Her stupid actions made a lot of my parents upset. And when and if my daughter gets sick (and chances are high as she is friends with both A and B) I will be all over like a fly on poo. One DCP said she might just take her kids over to her house and knock on the door and tell her that her kids are sick and she is dropping them off to HER to watch since SHE got them sick! LOL! Love it. Divorce DCM would die!Comment
