Don't judge me but I laid down on the floor at naptime today and napped. I had been at the ER most of the night with Dh who has a kidney stone and had gotten very little sleep. My 22 yr old dd was in the living room if any had woke without me hearing and helped out with the kidos all day. They napped really well today!

planted plants
hosed off the deck.
spray painted a yard ornament
then I came inside and ate Doritoes and sweet tea

Don't judge me... but I eat goodies in front of the kiddos all the time and tell them it's "medicine" - even though I know I'm not fooling anyone. One of my former DCKs used to go around saying "I love medicine!" all day long ::

Don't judge me... but if I'm really tired and had a very long day and just don't want to deal with a kid's parent, I will tell the parent the kid had a great day even though they didn't.

I did that yesterday. I went upstairs and took a 2 hr nap. Dh was downstairs and had the baby monitor and checked on the kids.
