OT: Don’t Judge Me But...

Don't Judge me but... I am totally addicted to very sweet and chocolate-y iced coffee. When a dck asks for some I just say Sure! And make them one w/ full strength bitter coffee and ice and hand it to them with a smile. They always take one drink, make a face give it back I get to drink all the iced coffees I want and the kids just think I'm crazy! happyface

Don't judge me but I spooned what was left of the kids' fruit salad from their bowls back into the serving bowl at lunch. They ate some but left a lot and fruit if expensive! I'll serve it to them again tomorrow

Don't judge me but... One of my infants woke up after an almost 2 hour nap today, but everyone else was still sleeping and I was REALLY enjoying the quiet time so I lulled him back to sleep for another 30 minutes while holding him even though he is WAY too big for that.

Don't judge me but if I don't feel like cleaning up before opening in the morning (and sometimes there's dinner dishes from the night before) I bring the clipboard outside to greet parents. Usually by the time they all leave I'm awake enough to clean up so we go back inside and clean.

Don't judge me but ... I ate an icecream Drumstick for breakfast this morning ... okay okay, I had two ... and I had two pieces of toast slathered in margarine and sprinkled with sugar. Did I say sprinkled? I meant that it had so much sugar my toast sparkled as if Tinkerbell herself used the bread as a trampoline.

Don't judge me but...my mom is temporarily my assistant, just until school is out because managing six kids to and from the bus stop sounds exhausting. Right now she's up in the kitchen supervising some coloring (in coloring books) and holding my wee tiny dcbaby. And I'm "working" downstairs, surfing the 'net and loving every minute of it.

Also,

Don't judge me, but I like coloring books. They're easy sometimes, and will keep my kiddos occupied longer than drawing on plain paper.

Don't judge me but I had a tough DCF. 2 kids, both total terrors. They went from 4 to 5 days a week and changed hours. Her new price included the later pickup and I didn't realize it until a couple weeks later, but I was overcharging $50/week No, I never told her and gladly pocketed the extra $50 every week and considered it a difficult child fee.

But I did eventually offer her an early pickup incentive that got them picked up even earlier for $25 off per week ::

Don't judge me... but I often serve tofu and call it "chicken" - my DCKs have NO idea. I had one super picky DCB years ago who always told mom I make the best chicken ever. :: I also cook with ground round a fair bit and not one kid knows the difference between it and ground beef!
