    Despite Ads To The Contrary

Nutella on toast is not a healthy breakfast choice.

It might make up "part" of a healthy breakfast when combined with real juice, a glass of milk, an egg etc. but as a standalone choice- no.

Please don't bring your 2 year old to me and say she had breakfast in the car when it was nutella on toast.

When I first started I didn't offer breakfast but I have for a long time now. Having some kind of 'bar' or junk in the car just made me kinda sad. Plus now I never have to guess if whining or crying is due to being hungry in the morning. Hated that guessing game.

I feel like we are so instrumental in good eating habits and with doing breakfast, lunch and a snack we pretty well are taking care of most of their diet so that is a good feeling.

I offer breakfast if they arrive before 07h30. This is the same kid who apparently won't drink anything except diet coke for mum but drinks her milk and water for me.

I think a 25 pound girl is ruling the roost at home.

We eat Nutella here once in a blue moon. On WHOLE GRAIN toast, though. It's a once-in-a-while treat.

People think Sauerkraut and Brats are the German national food, but really...it's Nutella! Here's confirmation:

An unknown number of culprits made off with five tonnes of Nutella chocolate-hazelnut spread from a parked trailer in the central German town of Bad Hersfeld over the weekend, police said today.

Just got back from outside. The thoroughly licked toast was in my flower bed.

:: gross that the Mom left it there. I would be tempted to ziploc and return it.

I would definitely hand it back tonight.

My kids are having waffles with Nutella, oranges, and milk for breakfast right now.

I'd rather give them Nutella on their waffles than butter and syrup. They seem to make a big mess with the butter and syrup, but don't with the Nutella.

I do pickup out front. I am going to say something tonight. My driveway always has goldfish, Cheerios etc. because of parents sweeping the carseats off.

Mmmm, that's what we are having for dinner tonight.

I don't eat Nutella. I've never even tried it. We don't eat it because it has too many carbs/sugar. (21 grams of sugar in 2 Tbs ) That's a lot!

I often times get text messages stating that so-and-so won't make it to breakfast this morning. Upon arriving, the child will always tell me they ate donuts.

                            I don't consider donuts breakfast.

I had to dissuade my husband of that notion when we first married. that, and cinnamon rolls as breakfast. WITH breakfast, sure, as a treat or weekend thing, or as a snack, whatever. Not as the SOLE component of breakfast.
