I've never tried a cigarette
I'm somewhat of a 'goody goody'
I love my daycare kiddo's during my daycare hours, and think about them often, but NO I do not want to be spending time with my kids outside on the weekends and have you let your kids outside in front for me to watch on my days off! (live on a cul-de-sac) I'm nice, but not THAT nice.
I'm an introvert... like living in my house bubble, and am happiest just hanging with my kids, reading books or playing with photography.
My neighbors sex offender status might not have been 'discovered' by the state, but someone might have mentioned it to licensing, causing him to move out of our nice neighborhood. Where he can no longer stare at me or any of the kids.

Me too! Although I think they may be catching on. The kids caught me reading a zombie book and the front cover has silhouettes of zombies. They've been asking about my zombie book for months now!

How much I struggle with patience sometimes
How close DH and I have come to losing it all in the past year (marriage, house, everything)
Just how bad off our finances have been at times the past year
That some weeks I have struggled to feed my own family let alone their kids
That I have many times in the past 6 months skipped paying bills in order to feed everyone
That I fight a constant battle between myself and the forces of ADD/Asperger's/anxiety.

• I don't like to watch chick flicks or read girly books.
• I hate to clean even though my house is spotless.
• We don't drink at all (except diet soda and water)
• My family and I eat more junk food than we should on the weekends.

On Fridays I make sure the kids are ready to go and push them out the door at 5pm, close it, lock it, and do a happy dancehappyface!

Have received a few phone calls from employers asking me to work for them-have never put in a resume or inquired about their openings!

Am a night time smoker

If they are running late, I have ds open the garage door and start my vehicle like I need to be gone just so they don't think I don't have a life. When they are getting their kids in the car, I get in mine and put on my brakes. Yep, telling them not to be late, making them pay for it, and this-none of it works, but at least I feel a little better

I love to cook and bake, but hate food-well, except chocolate

Night time smoker and wine drinker.
I really really hate when parents talk in baby talk to kids after about the age of 1.
That in my head I'm very judgmental of other people's parenting.
That I had a child very very young. I'm sure they can tell by the looks of me and my son but no one knows my age
That I'm such a tight wad with money. I buy almost all daycare items second hand.

That I am college educated and I am a fantastic teacher of adults - I teach a Small group class at church that is growing into a large class!. (I get the idea sometimes that I am seen as "not quite as bright" as the rest if the world because I make working with preschoolers my choice.

That I secretly think they all spend too little time with their children. (I see those Facebook posts!)

That Bible Study is my passion. Ask me any theological question, and I can probably answer it or I know where to find the answer.

That if I had my choice, I would close up shop and move to east Africa.

That I enjoy a glass of red wine almost every night.

That I think they make frivolous choices with their money. However, in their defense, I am a budgeting freak!!

Many of my dcp's don't even know I am English. (A few have asked if I am from back east) because I have lost most of my accent!

This really isn't my profession of choice. I just don't think I can go anywhere else and make the money I make and be able to make my own schedule.

Yet, honestly some days I feel trapped, mostly bc I am ALWAYS stuck at home.

I am still a very good and professional provider and I love those little ones like my own- just Monday-Friday LOL

I dont have any major secrets or anything but there are a few things I dont talk about.....

I was abused as a child and grew up dirt poor....like one tiny step above homeless.
I have in the past struggled with OCD and PTSD because of my childhood

everything else they know. i dont drink or smoke, never have. i am a christian and have no problem sharing that should questions arise. i have no skeletons in the closet....not even a traffic ticket. never got into any trouble, never done anything even remotely dangerous or adventurous. I dont even ski or ride a bike LOL although I can do it, I just dont.

oh wait, I am sure none of them would be happy to know that i really dislike doing daycare. i dont dislike the kids or the parents.....i just hate doing daycare. i would drop the whole thing in a heart beat if the opportunity arises. right now i am doing a big downsizing but i wont be daycare kid free till finances allow. i will probably cry in joy the day the last daycare kid leaves. so yeah, not sharing that with them LOL

Seriously I understand disliking daycare. I patiently wait for that call of opportunity every.single.day but I guess its like the lottery- you gotta play in order to win.

I absolutely love my martinis, especially chocolate....yum! Only on weekends and only every once in a while, but I enjoy one thoroughly when I have it.

I am "going to" become addicted to my iphone when I figure out how to use it. ::

I love reading romance novels.

I am a shopaholic which is why I need to do daycare.
