    I go straight to a glass. For a child just learning, I set it on the table out of their reach and help when I see them reach for it. It might be different enough from a bottle that she'll try it.

        My breastfed son got used to dippy cups early on , right after 6 months . But now at 14 months he is on strike yet again from all bottles/sippys. And refuses because he would rather have "nurse nurse milk" straight from mommy.
        When he is in this mood the only thing that works is giving him pumped milk and telling him its nurse nurse milk . Also he prefers to take a sippy/bottle from just me .
