okay i need help on what to do or how to word a communication to a parent..
I had a potential parent come in to interview and she brought her older sis.. older sis was so happy about my program she asked if i had space she could switch her son to me because where he was now its basically just babysitting no learning or anything. I said sure.. I had no idea she meant the very next day? (first red flag, she didnt give any notice to her prior caregiver but what would you have done?)
so the potential parent turns into a permanent dcm along w/ her older sis and new dcm is dropping off and picking up both kiddos.. she paid me for the first week, payment for both her and her sister.
so sunday night of second week she calls and asks can she pay on Friday instead because she just started her job (which she had explained) and has no money.. I assume she means both her and her sister (thats all ive seen or talked to since interview day) and i agree.
friday she pays for her child but tells me that the sis will have to come back and pay???? I remind her payment would be required for her son to continue. she says yes she knows they will be back.. needless to say they didnt come back and new dcm shows up this morning with her child only???
So im done with this middle man stuff...i need to talk to the sis, i dont want her back i was thinking of terming her anyway because her son is 4 years old and does not listen AT ALL.. and is a distraction most of the time. but how do i tell her that i still want my weeks pay
Im trying not to hold things against the dcm as well because she didnt ask for her sis to jump on the bandwagon, but im kinda feeling a way about her just because of what her sis did..
