Whoa, let's not get in a fight over something so unimportant ladies. Relax and move on. It looks like you've both offended each other, let's just call it miscommunication. I think you both agree poor spelling on an ad is unprofessional and not the best way to represent yourself. I don't think BRTRacey meant to attack the character or worth of a poor speller. And LittleMissMuffet, I'm sure if you wanted to you could find a more tactful way to get your point across.
And just to throw my hat in the ring here too, I also would not respond to an ad that was spelled so poorly. Not because the person can't spell (my dad is TERRIBLE, he couldn't spell to save his life!), but because to post an ad that had not been checked over by spell check, a friend, a dictionary, anything, would communicate to me that the person was not thorough, professional, resourceful, or committed to a high standard for herself. Your ad is your first and often only impression to represent yourself, it should be the best you have to offer, just like a resume. If I was looking over resumes or ads, I would go with the person who was qualified as this person listed excellent credentials, but who ALSO put in a great deal of effort and quality control to represent themself well. I personally would not chose to call someone who's ad was so poorly written, and I would bet most people also would not.
But as to the actual OP... She must really love kids! LOL I hope that's the truth because otherwise, oh my!!!
