She last logged on on Saturday so she IS around...

I know she had some personal issues going on so maybe she isn't able to check in as often lately.

Maybe she'll chime in soon.... I'd love to see/hear an update on her beautiful little one!

My group is extremely physical and we are always on the go. We farm, hike, bike, walk, and exercise daily. I wear clothing that will allow me to move freely and able to get down and dirty just like the rest of the kids. So I do wear yoga pants, jogging pants, capri pants, and etc.

My clothing is clean and well kept and the parents know from the start that I don't spend a lot of time on me, as I have too many other things to be doing than to spend it all on me getting ready.

I spend about 10-15min each morning, washing up, teeth, face, sunblock, the normal stuff and then out to the front and start setting up my day.
        Old thread but this!!!

I get up at 4:30, workout, shower, dressed, minimal makeup (I wear a tinted moisturizer with SPF and some mascara.

Ponytail, chignon, bun, or straighten my hair and wear it down (depending on humidity).

Sometimes I wear earrings, because a dcg asks.

I do yoga, or walk a LOT, or zumba, or play soccer with the kids. I NEED to be in workout clothes. We are a VERY active bunch and it just isn't possible to run my program in jeans, dresses or pretty clothes.

I wear socks in the house. I will even take off my sandals and put on socks. I have a sensory thing about anything on the bottom of my feet. Dck's wear gripper socks or slippers indoors. NO SHOES.

I grab a protein shake after my workout, but I eat breakfast with my dck's. Usually just eggs or yogurt.

I saw a dcfamily this past Saturday at the store on my way to a bridal shower. Dcb recognized me and, waved and ran over to me. Dcm and dcd did not know who I was at first. Dcm said "WOW! You clean up NICE!"

I DO go over this on interview. I try to look 'business casual' at interview. I tell them to dress their child in comfortable, active clothing and to expect me to be dressed the same. Sneakers are a must, no fancy dresses, tight jeans, etc. All of my families have loved that I get active and involved with the kids. None have ever made a negative comment (to me anyway) about my appearance.

How do I prepares for my work day? I get up at either 4 or 4:30. an hour before the first kid is due. I like to be wide awake. I have some caffeine and try to do my paperwork and prep work for the day.
What do you wear? I wear very comfy clothes: sweats, t-shirts, capris, shorts, etc...I am down with the kids all day and we do arts and crafts and messy play. I consider dressing comfy a perk to working from home with children.
Do you do your hair? Ponytail usually
Makeup? Not for my work day.
Shoes, socks, or bare feet? bare feet or socks
Do you wear the same thing at drop off/pick up all day? Unless I get too dirty I don't change.
Have you already eaten breakfast before children arrive? Not usually. I can't eat at 4 or 4:30.
