Totally awesome. I love kids (girls too!) in mohawks... and blue? Even better! To the PP who said this wouldn't be allowed in school - maybe where you live, but not here... I see kiddos going to and from school with wild and brightly dyed hair frequently (I live across the street from 2 schools)!
Blue Hair, Really?

I tend to only concern myself about things if they directly impact the child.
Blue, spiked hair? Naw. High heeled shoes at daycare? Yes.- Flag

My dd loves to go to one of the kids hair places in town to get her hair cut because they'll color it with the spray. I don't mind unless we have somewhere important to be. She also must shower before bed because it rubs off on the sheets and irritates her scalp.
We have wacky Wednesday every once in a while. The kids will come dressed in mismatched, crazy clothes and colored hair. I have 2 boys that always have it spiked up. I don't mind until they throw a fit after rest time because it's not spiked anymore. They throw HUGE fits and tantrums because of it (they're 5). I've asked they not do that with the hair any longer.- Flag

My girls have all colored their hair in bright colors. Some washout and some permanent. IMO it's only hair.
Word of warning for the blonds out there though!! The semi permanent and wash out varieties DO NOT wash out of blond hair well. I put a streak of blue underneath my hair two years ago on a whim when I was dying dd's and it took nearly a year and a half to grow out long enough that we could cut the color out of my hair. It was suppose to last 10 shampoos or something like that. I'm very blond though.- Flag

Every time my son has ever received a hair cut, the place always has spiked or m-ohawked his hair and sprayed color in it, since he was just over 1, Its so cute and just temporary.....he just loves it, I definitely wouldn't judge a parent for having fun with their childs hair- Flag

Our school doesn't limit hair colors. When the colts went to superbowl we went blue. It's just hair.- Flag

We allowed my DS to have a mohawk one time I think he was in 1st grade. He got 2 referrals that week and the teacher said he came to school with a "chip on his shoulder" that week. So off came the mohawk and with it went the chip! Hahaha- Flag
