white poop can also mean that mom is giving her something for her loose stools, like kaopectate (they sell for children) she def. needs more fiber in her diet if her stool is hard. Also, start checking things out that have alot of iron in it, make fish sticks if you have to.

Yes definitely the mom needs to have the white poop checked out. Please, PLEASE make sure this happens, and soon!

        update

dcg went to doctor with stool sample. Doc concluded that white poops were cause from having a white diet. The majority of what she ate: bread, oatmeal, milk, occasionally meats.

I've been allowing DCG to sit and eat as long as she needs. This am she had a bowl of oatmeal and bananas. It took her an entire 1hr and 15 mins to finish it herself but she got it done.

For lunch I got her to eat half a chicken taco even though she picked out all the veggies. Again this took her an hour.

For snack we had orange slices and crackers. She would only eat her crackers and drink her milk. So I got out the blender and mixed up a 1/4 cup of strawberry yogurt 1 cup of milk and half an orange. Filled up her sippy cup and she downed it in 5 mins.

DCM text this evening and said child pooped with normal color.

I think I will continue to serve her the regular meals as is no matter how long it may take her to finish a small amount of food. Then in the afternoon give her some type of smoothie and will add in some infant cereal for the iron.

I really appreciate all the advice!

            You are awesome!!!

It is wonderful that you are going the extra mile to make sure this little girl eats and that she's getting all the good nutrition possible. She was sent to you for a reason. Many child care providers wouldn't put out the effort you are.

Ditto here too!! That's awesome and I commend you for wanting to do this for your DC little. Although making smoothies may take time in your day I think it's a good way to solve the issue. It's obviously working because DCG is pooping normally, hopefully DCM will do this at home also. happyface

Smoothies are a life saver for picky eaters. Whenever my DCK are sick I make them smoothies. Here are some things I put in them:
Almond milk and sometimes chocolate almond milk
                Banana
                flax oil
                flax seed
                protein powder
                broccoli or any veggie
                blueberries
                strawberries
                probiotics

They absolutely go crazy for smoothies!!
