Hello everyone, I am new to this forum but am not so new to child care. Not only am I a mother of 4 (my son died of crib death at the age of 5 months so am raising 3 children), I am also a day care provider. I tend to provide service on a smaller scale for friends and family and their referrals. I am not sure at this time if I will ever be interested in pressing towards a large day care business, but who knows what the future holds. For now-- I am happy to be able to be home with my children while at the same time providing love and nurturing for children who have parents that work traditional jobs. I am excited to be part of this forum and hope to learn from the experiences of other child care providers as well as share experiences of my own. After all, it will be nice to share and communicate with those of like mind.
