Welcome to the forum. I would probably start by reading state regs, and looking at the bookkeeping.

Are you ready to deal with the business side of it?

If so, take the time to investigate. Look at the book, make sure everything is running properly, maybe even have a business adviser look over the business to see if there is a reason they are selling that can be a problem.
