Hello, I 'm in the processing for open a home daycare and my orientation is on 18 February I live in Md and would have some advice , Please . How long it take to have a license, how is the inspection? Should i have my home daycare ready before the inspection. Thank you.

Hi mame, It honestly depends on how long it takes you to complete your training, background check, get your u&o permit and submit the paper work. Once you submit everything you need you will have your inspection. If everything is okay they will submit your application for review. It takes them about a month to make a decision and send you your license. The whole process can take 2-6 months.
