Looking to start Child Care center

I'm looking to start a child care center and look forward to obtaining the knowledge shared on this forum.

I come from a technical background so I'm learning now about licensing, and the ins and outs on running a day care. I will be attending my first seminar offered by my local Action for Children next week.

I'm in Columbus, Ohio.

I'd like to take over an existing daycare where the owner is looking to retire or find a building already configured for daycare and starting my own.
