Not licensed yet but wanting to start watching kids..?

So I am in the final steps of licensing-just need to be up to fire code. Nothing is extremely unsafe, we just dont have base on in the living room and our built in entertainment center isn't quite done but that area is not used for daycare.

I want to start advertising and take families now and let them know I will get licensed and be completely open to them about it. Is this something that is okay to do?

If I do it can I still have them sign a contract? Any advise?

I am also in MN and you can not watch more than one family without a license.
Depending on your area you can be fined per child per day

You also risk not being eligible for licensing.
You can advertise and enroll but other than one family, you may not provide services.
