Holding a teachers childs spot over summer

    Hello,
I am new to the daycare.com forum so this is my first question...

I have been up and going for 2 years now and this is the first summer that I have 2 families that have parents as teachers, one family has 2 kids so this alone is a big chunk of income lost over summer. So I have discussed with both families that in order to hold the spots through the summer I do require a holding fee which is 50% of the tuition I am also offering drop in 2 days a week...

I would like to put this in a contract that way it covers me if for some reason they decide not return.... Anyone have a sample contract they would like to share with me???

    TIA

    From my handbook:

    TEACHERS/SEASONAL WORKERS

During the summer months, teacher's children are expected to attend/pay as normally scheduled/enrolled.

If you choose not to have your child(ren) attend (or pay) during the summer, your space will NOT be held and re-enrollment cannot be guaranteed.

For seasonal workers or parents who have periods of lay-offs or no work due to weather, your child will be expected to attend as contracted.

No discounts or special consideration is given for rain days or lay off periods.

I refuse to take a financial loss due to someone elses work situation.

Teachers are still paid a yearly salary whether they work the full year or just part of it.

I used to take SA kids to fill the gaps but I don't take kids over 5 yrs old now so each space is $X amount of money ALL 52 weeks a year.

If parents pull their child, I will NOT re-enroll.
