Paid Even Though Child Is Absent

Hello my policy is if your child attends 0/7 days I still get paid. As long as I'm open I get paid. If I'm unavailable/closed then you dont hve to pay me for that day or day. Does that seem fair to you? I hve some parents that dont complain about this rule and othets that do. Whats your opinion?

That's pretty common (both your policy, and the complaints) :-)

      I only go unpaid if:
There is an unexpected closing (outside of severe weather).
They are using their pre-approved "tuition free" vacation week after being enrolled 6 months. Only a few families have actually used this.

      I am paid:
      Regular work days
      If their child is absent
During my 16 days off (including holidays)

I haven't actually had anyone outright complain.

        Yup--perfectly reasonable.

My policy is the same. I think that sounds fair because daycares in my area charge for personal/sick days.
