How do you start an in home daycare? What are marketing strategies?

My biggest strategy so far is getting to know people and showing confidence as I talk about my program.
I've asked other daycares if I can refer to them and they are happy to return the favor. I've created a Moms board on facebook before I even decided to go through with the daycare. Because people are getting to know me they are becoming interested in what I have to offer.
Fliers and craigslist too. -
